The Team Lead is Dr Mathius Ssenyondo Tsimwa (MBChB MUST, 2016) who is passionate about home-based care. During the COVID-19 lockdown, he saw the suffering of his patients and started Allied Doctors and Friends of Africa (CSO, Feb 2019) and ADFA Medicare Services (Clinic, Aug 2021) to service this home care gap. There are a number of service providers in this space but there is a need for home-based care movement that leverages all of these strengths to serve the marginalised patients in this nation.
